Alma Stokes Vincent

Alma Stokes Vincent, 76 of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Hawthorne Inn in Winter Haven, Florida.

She was born on December 16, 1939 in Lake Wales, Florida to the late Aubrey H. and Ruby Lois (Thomas) Hale and she has been a lifelong resident of this area. She was a retired Dispatcher with the Lake Wales Police Department. Alma loved reading, gardening, camping and sewing. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Survivors include her daughter, Janie Stokes (Lelan) Wyrosdick of Lake Wales; son, Michael Harold (Linda G.) Stokes of Lake Wales; sisters, Camilla Hale of Lake Wales, Rachel Thomas of Debary, Kay Antoinette “Toni” Resnick of Debary; 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Jerry Resser officiating.
