Alison Kinloch Martin, 55

Alison Kinloch Martin of Lake Wales went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 surrounded by her family.

She was born October 9, 1967 in Lake Wales where she has been a lifelong resident aside from living in Wisconsin from 2003 until 2008. Alison was a preschool teacher for over 25 years. She was an active member of HighPoint Church where she served in the children’s ministry. Anyone who knew Alison knew her love for Jesus, her family, and children.

Alison is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Kirk Martin of Beloit, Wisconsin; daughter, Brittany Staton-Martin of Lake Wales; son, Brandon Martin of Lake Wales; mother, Katherine Kinloch of Lake Wales; and sister, Heather Kinlock of Lake Wales.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 16, 2023 at HighPoint Church in Lake Wales. Before Alison passed away, she requested people wear happy colors for the service, she did not want her celebration of life to be depressing. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her honor can be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital or directly to Mr. Kirk Martin to help with ongoing care of family.
