Alice J. Meyer

Alice J. Meyer, age 101, of Elmira, NY passed away Friday, September 24, 2010 at the Chemung County Nursing Home in New York.

Alice was born January 9, 1909 in Norfolk, NE to the late William D. & Eliza (Bowman) Lovett.

She is predeceased by her husband, Frederick Meyer II and son, Gerald VanNorway. Survivors include her brother-in-law, Charles "Chester" (Lois) Meyer of Lake Wales; nephews, Charles Meyer, Jr. of Lake Wales, Frederick Meyer III of Frostproof, Lawrence Meyer of Naples, Bobby Meyer of Melbourne, Morris Meyer of Melbourne and Carl Meyer of Clermont; great-nephews, Glen M. Cheney of Syracuse, NY and Jack H. Cheney (Ione) of Zephyrhills; great-grandnephews, Lee M. (Dawn) Cheney of Williston, VT, with children, Phillip & Katherine, Jack H. Cheney, II of Zephyrhills, with son, Eric; along with several other great-nieces and great-nephews.,

Graveside service will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, October 8, 2010 at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
