Alice Faye Carrier, 72

Alice Faye Carrier of Lake Wales was born on October 28, 1949, in Cave-In-Rock Illinois to the late Clyde and Altha Hohimer and passed away on February 25, 2022. She was of Baptist faith, loved her grandchildren and enjoyed watching them play sports, loved the beach and water, used to be a cosmetologist, and rode motorcycles at one time. She retired as a detention deputy for Polk County Sheriff.

Alice is preceded in death by her brothers Alfred Leo Hohimer, and Owen Douglas Hohimer, and is survived by her sons Greg Partain of Lexington, KY, Jason Partain and wife Paula of Elizabethtown, IL, and Michael Davis and wife Sandy of Lake Wales; sisters Charlotte Pritchett and husband Mike of Omaha, IL, and Wanda Lou McDermott and husband Allen of Cave-In-Rock, IL; and brothers Clyde Eugene Hohimer and wife Wilma of Cave-In-Rock, IL, and Thomas Alan Hohimer; and 6 grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 6, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home, 454 South Buck Moore Road, Lake Wales, Florida 33853.
