Aldo Robert Scali

Aldo Robert Scali of Honaker, VA passed away Friday, September 16 2011 in Frostproof, FL.

He was born May 14, 1925 in Canfield, OH to the late Anthony & Maggie (Bonghi) Scali; he was a resident of Honaker, VA and began wintering in 1998. He was retired from Russell County Medical Center in Lebanon, VA as the purchasing director, a long time member of the First United Methodist Church in Honaker, VA and a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed watching sports and game shows on TV, especially "Wheel of Fortune".

Aldo was preceded in death by his wife, Mary J. "Jackie" Scali in February of 2011. Survivors include his daughter, Deborah Ann Scali of Lake Placid; son, Ron Scali (Tina) of Frostproof; brother, Henry Scali of Youngstown, OH; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled in Florida. Services and burial will be held in Virginia under the direction of Honaker Funeral Home.
