Albert William Trendel, Jr., born on August 29, 1931, in Lansing, Michigan, departed this world on September 23, 2025, under the care of Vitas Hospice at AdventHealth Lake Wales. His life journey was marked by a steadfast dedication to both his profession and the principles he held dear, leaving behind a legacy of both service and creativity.
Albert's professional life as a printer for Hartley Printing exemplified his remarkable work ethic; a man who always stayed busy, he approached every task with meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to quality. His creativity found additional expression during his military service in the United States Air Force during the Korean War from 1951 to 1955, where he utilized his photographic talents to capture classified imagery. This period in his life not only honed his skills but also reflected his enduring dedication to duty and his country.
A devout follower of the Baptist faith, Albert approached life with a sense of purpose that resonated through his many hobbies and interests. An enthusiast of trains, he spent countless hours marveling at their engineering and history. His passion for creation extended to crafting intricate Lego models and woodworking projects, where he showcased his craftsmanship by creating picture frames that often housed treasured memories.
Albert is survived by his cherished daughters, Pat Robinson and her husband Mark of Lake Wales, and Kay Ringle and her husband Darrell of Lake Wales. He also leaves behind three beloved grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were fortunate to witness his love and guidance.
