Albert Hugo Sanchez

February 28, 1961 — May 19, 2014

Al Sanchez, 53 of Davenport, Florida passed away Monday,
May 19, 2014 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born February 28, 1961 in Los Angeles, California to Inez Delgado. He grew up in Los Angeles and was a resident to Florida for the past 10 years.

He was a proud Christian and a firm believer in God.
His degree was one of his greatest accomplishments after the many struggles he endured to get him there. Albert graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Irvine. He also graduated with Associate’s Degrees in both Computer Science and Mathematics. He credited his education for opening the opportunities to work in the Professional world.
He started his career with RCI in the Hospitality industry in 1998 in the IT department, moving thru several departments within the same corporation, his last position was a Project Manager leaving the company in 2013.

Windsurfing was his passion, taking a year to travel thru the coast of California, he wrote a book about the best spots for windsurfing along the pacific coast. He liked going for walks and jogging (when I’m in shape). He participated in 5Ks along with the Orlando staff. He liked bike riding, and participated in the Toure D’ Cure in 2009 completing a 60 mile tour. He liked Martial Arts and had a Red Belt in Tae Kwon Do and a Blue Belt in Hapkido. Other interests he had were Jet Skiing, Piano, Reading, and Science.
Everyone remembers Albert for his great sense of humor, his kids always loved being around him and he loved playing with them. He adored his children. They were his life!
He always gave 100% to everything he did, he would set goals and accomplish them. He never gave up.

“To Elizabeth and her family, thank you for loving my son. He was also a part of your family and now he’s gone and has left us 3 beautiful children to love and cherish.”
He is survived by his Mother Inez Delgado of Anaheim, CA; Daughter, Sarah Sanchez, Sons; David Sanchez and Izaiah Sanchez.
