Albert Eugene “Gene” Horton, 78
Albert E. “Gene” Horton of Frostproof, Florida passed away Monday, July 15, 2019 at Advent Health in Sebring, Florida.
He was born June 22, 1941 in Lakeland, Florida to the late Walter A. and Louise E. (Prevatt) Horton. He has been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a retired Material Coordinator for Agrico. He was an avid Turkey Hunter.
He is preceded in death by his son Michael “Mike” Horton.
Survivors include his son Carl Horton and wife Gerri of Frostproof, FL, brother Max Horton and wife Jill of Zellwood, FL, 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Wild Turkey Federation at P.O. Box 530 Edgefield, SC 29824.
