Alanna Juliette Goodson

ALANNA JULIETTE GOODSON, 18

Alanna Juliette Goodson of Lake Wales passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

Alanna was born on August 23, 2002 in Tampa, FL and came to live in Lakes Wales as a child. She graduated from Lake Wales High School in 2020. Alanna was an honor student, artist, writer, played the viola, and volunteered regularly at the local community center. Alanna was recently enlisted to join the US Marine Corp in the coming months. Her dreams were to become a Marine, attend University, become a veterinarian where she could dedicate her life to care for all animals, and ultimately own a wolf sanctuary.

Alanna is survived by her mother, Jennifer Oakleaf; her siblings, Alexander Lemus and Alessa Lemus; her uncle, Brian Vera; her maternal grandmother Rebeca Vera; her stepfather, Jason Oakleaf; her maternal grandfather, Charles Vera; her maternal great-grandmother, Carmen Cardona; aunts, Karen Bodón and Alice Bodón, and many other members of the extended family that care deeply for Alanna.
