Arlie James “Dub” Dubberly, 79

A.J. Dubberly of Frostproof passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 at Somer’s Hospice House in Sebring. He was born August 28, 1937 in Frostproof, Florida to the late Arlie F. and Jettie (Padgett) Dubberly. He has been a lifelong resident of the area and was employed by Florida Power as a Foreman, Lineman and Dispatcher. He was the president of IBEW. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Frostproof.

He is preceded in death by his wife Reba A. Dubberly, brothers Alva Dubberly, William F. Dubberly, and sister Betty June Dubberly and grandson J.B. Parker.

Survivors include his son Jim Dubberly and wife Ruth of Sebring, FL, daughters June Parker of Frostproof, FL, Nikki DiPace of Frostproof, FL, son Allen Dubberly of Orlando, FL, brothers Herbert Dubberly of Cullman, AL, Lee Dubberly and wife Paula of Cullman, AL, brother in law Thomas M. Hardwick of Port St. Lucie, FL, cousin Natella Conner, 4 grandchildren Chris Dubberly, Kalani Dubberly,  of Sebring, Kristin Parker and McKenzie Dipace of Frostproof,  4 great grandchildren Jayden Parker, Keniel Parker, Jr. Parker and Addlyn Dubberly.

Memorial service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, November 19, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Frostproof.
