Agnes Whitlock

Agnes "Sweetie" Whitlock passed away February 2, 2009 at the Grove Center in Lake Wales, FL after a lengthy illness.

She was born February 27, 1926 in Baltimore, MD and was one of nine children born to Lemuel and Alice Ayres. She was a real estate saleswoman, homemaker and loved to work in the yard.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, John Whitlock, one son, Joe Piccolo and his wife Barbara, one daughter, Angie Williams and her husband Don, two grandsons, Joel and Chad, two granddaughters, Robin Dennis-Sanderson and her husband Rusty, and Stephanie Williams Smith and her husband Brian, four great-grandsons, Dustin, Christopher, Logan and Chandler. She is also survived by her sister, Melvina Greene and her brother, Earl Ayres.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Jim Moyer officiating.
