Adell Wilcox

Adell Wilcox of Lake Wales passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born December 16, 1942 in Florala, AL to the late E.C. & Freddiebell Holland; and she moved here from Alabama in 1968. She was a caregiver, a member of the Central Avenue Baptist Church and enjoyed taking care of her family.

Adell was preceded in death by her daughter, Suzanne Archer and a son, Bill Archer. Survivors include her sons, David Wilcox (Jodi) of Lake Wales and Edward Wilcox of Lake Wales; daughter, Alesia Huggins (Raymond) of Lake Wales; brother, George Holland (Mary) of Owosso, MI; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the Central Avenue Baptist Church in Lake Wales. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery in Frostproof.
