Addie Peebles

Addie Lee Henry-Peebles of Frostproof passed away Saturday, December 15, 2012 at The Groves Center.

She was born December 30, 1920 in Emmanuel, GA to the late Ellie Doyle & Nellie Henry; and she came here from Orlando in 1964. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fellowship Assembly in Frostproof.

Addie was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Peebles; a son, Kermit James Peebles; and a brother, Cephus Henry. Survivors include her daughters, Bernice Brooks of Frostproof and Carrie Jefferies of Lake Wales; 12 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Monday, December 17, 2012 and the funeral service will be held 10:00 am Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. Interment will follow at the Silver Hill Cemetery.
