LAKE WALES -- Mrs. Lorena Hazellief of Lake Wales died of heart failure Friday (Sept. 8, 2006) at Winter Haven Health and Rehab. She was 90.

Born in Keenansville on Nov. 6, 1915, she came to Lake Wales from St. Petersburg in 1957. She was a homemaker. She was Protestant.

Mrs. Hazellief was preceded in death by her husband, Albert B. Hazellief. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce L. Kersey, Lake Wales; sons, Jake Hazellief and Mickey Hazellief, both of Brooksville, Mike Hazellief and Danny Hazellief, both of Frostproof; brother, Bobby Owens, Vero Beach; sisters, Dorothy Smith and Ruth Sparkman, both of Vero Beach, Claudia Luikart, Fort Pierce; 22 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; two great-great-greatgrandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Marion Nelson Funeral Home of Lake Wales. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Lake Wales Cemetery.
