Abe Weston

Abe Weston of Winter Haven passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at his residence.

He was born March 16, 1936 in Sumter, SC to the late James & Maggie Lou Weston; he came here from Willingboro, NJ in 1999. He was a retired accountant for the Delaware River Port Authority and a veteran of Vietnam, serving in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Philadelphia, PA and the American Legion in Winter Haven. He loved listening to old Blues and Jazz music, watching sports and flower gardening.

Abe is survived by his companion of 20 years, Geraldine West; daughter, Sherryl Weston and husband, Vince Vigil of Denver, CO; sons, Guy Weston of Silver Spring, MD and Mark Weston and wife, Reenie of Willingboro, NJ; sister, Estelle Fonseca of Lake Wales and Barbara Wood-Richardson of Spartanburg, SC; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

No local services are scheduled at this time. Services will take place in Willingboro, NJ under the direction of May Funeral Home.
