LAKE WALES -- Mrs. Sally Watkins Kinnear of Lake Wales died of heart failure Thursday (Dec. 8, 2005) at Lake Wales Medical Center. She was 79.

Born in Ashville, N.C., on June 7, 1926, she became a winter resident in 1980, moving here permanently from Somers, Conn., in 1993. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Lake Wales Art Guild and helped with painting downtown murals in Lake Wales where she also taught oil painting.

Mrs. Kinnear is survived by her husband, Charlie Kinnear; children, David Kinnear, Lake Forest, Calif., Deborah Meisner, Mount Juliet, Tenn., Charlene Rinaldi, Jacksonville, Vt., Charles Kinnear, Hollywood, Fla.; sister, June Hornbecker, Lake Wales; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
