Frank J. Sibrava of Alturas passed away Monday, April 23, 2012 at his residence.

He was born January 24, 1943 in Somerville, NJ to the late Anthony B. and Mabel (Cobert) Sibrava; and he came to the area in 1972. Frank was retired from Orange Co. (citrus processing plant) in Bartow as a Fork Lift Operator, was an avid NASCAR fan, and of the Protestant faith.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Mabel Sibrava. Survivors include his daughter, Eva Helveston (Bobby) of Lakeland; sons, Anthony Sibrava of Frostproof and Frankie Sibrava of Lakeland; sisters, Ruth Migliore of Sarasota and Helen Cholewa of Auburndale; nieces, Jacqueline Migliore and Josephine Woolbride; four grandchildren, David S. Jenks, Mark A. Jenks, Joshua Sibrava and Zachary Sibrava; and companion, Joy Montgomery.

Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, April 30, 2012 at the Bougainvillea Cemetery in Avon Park with Rev. Paul Dixon officiating.
